10 BVAS Machine Stolen In Delta State , see Video below.
Ten Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) cards have been stolen in Delta State, where people are voting for their favorite candidates for governor and the house of assembly.
In a video trending online, a member of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed the change and indicated that they are still trying to examine the affected units because of the missing BVAS.
The official asked security workers at the center to bring it out so they could count the rest of the votes in front of the journalists.
After counting, he noticed that each unit should have 23 BVAS, but the INEC Centre only had 14 BVAS.
He asked the authorities to look into the problem and said that none of their resources had been changed.
The INEC official said that the backup BVAS for units 2, 5, 6, 19, 8, 20, 9, and some others are still working.
