In a rather comic Instagram post on Friday popular Nigerian singer Naira Marley told his followers that he is addicted to one of his songs which is titled “Ayee”. The singer who pulls a large following among music lovers in Nigeria is much loved for his style of music winch is often the favorite at parties.
Little wonder Naira Marley was a guest at the ill fated birthday party held for Funke Akindele’s husband during the lock down which ended in her arrest and subsequent prosecution. Naira Marley managed to settle out of court to avoid conviction.
He was also in the news for promising to quit smoking in the month of Ramadam but he started celebrating one of his controversial music “soapy” which was widely condemned as immoral just few days later when it reached a record number of views on YouTube.
Naira Marley is no doubt an amazing singer and a hard working one too. His song “Ayee” is very popular too and celebrities like Davido have said some nice things about the song. Naira Marley himself has admitted that he is addicted to the song.
His closeness to Davido another very good singer has made some fans to think that in the coming months they may do some collaborations.
