Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha has reportedly dragged the state lawmakers to court over missing funds.
Governor Emeka Ihedioha who was forced out of office earlier this year is presently seeking ways to stop the lawmakers in the eastern province from probing him.
According to report the state Auditor-General for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs had issued an interim audit report detailing how N19.63b fraudulently disappeared from the Local Government accounts when Ihedioha was governor.

However, In a bid to forestall any investigation, Governor Emeka Ihedioha applied for a perpetual injunction to stop the imo lawmakers from probing him for allegedly mismanaging N19.63billion council funds This was also contained in a suit filed on May 5 at the Owerri Judicial Division.

The Imo State House of Assembly, the Speaker as well as the Clerk of the Assembly are the defendants.
