Arsenal has officially confirmed the signing of Willian on a three-year contract. The Brazilian winger left Chelsea earlier this week after his deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit expired.
The 32-year-old will stay in London, however, after agreeing a deal with Mikel Arteta’s team. Former Chelsea forward, Willian, has officially joined London rival, Arsenal on a three-year deal.
The North London side announced the development on its Twitter account on Friday.
The 32-year-old moved to the Emirate at the end of his contract after seven years at the Chelsea.
Chelsea offered him two years deal, but the Brazilian wanted more and Arsenal stepped in by offering a three-year contract last week.
Brazilian made 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and finished the season in fine form, with four Premier League goals after the restart taking his tally for the season to nine.
