Arsenal will hope to complete a deal for the Iceland International as quickly as possible, because Premier League rules states that Runarsson must be registered by midday on Friday to be a part of the Arsenal squad for Saturday’s game against West Ham.
The 25 year old played just eleven matches for the Ligue 1 outfit last season conceding 17 goals.
It is reported that Arsenal are also looking at Brentford goalkeeper David Raya but the championship club do not want to sell any more players after sanctioning a move for Ollie Watkins who joined Aston Villa and Said Benrahma who is still at the club.
