The All Progressives Congress APC has congratulated re-elected Edo State Governor in the just concluded election, Godwin Obaseki.re-elected Edo State Governor in the just concluded election, Godwin Obaseki.
Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the APC National Caretaker Committee in a statement, said that Nigeria’s democracy is the real winners of the election owing to the peaceful conduct and it’s outcome.
He reiterated on the Party and the President’s commitment to free and fair elections, which will go a long way in strengthening the country’s political foundation and moral authority.
He also commended INEC, security agencies and all the political parties that participated in the election.
Continuing, he extolled the party’s flagbearer Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s leadership qualities as well as his tenacity.
Mala Buni also reserved a word of appreciation for the efforts of Adams Oshiomhole, the immediate past national chairman of the party and other members of the party for their unwavering support.
The Governor of Yobe State concluded by admonishing that the country unite inorder to continue to move it’s democracy forward and end the era of electoral warfare.
