Happening now at the Lekki toll gate, soldiers open fire on peaceful protesters after the cameras and lights were taken down.
Early hours of today, the governor of Lagos State , Babajide Sanwo-Olu declared a state-wide curfew beginning by 4pm to curtail the damage done to properties and buildings in the state from the wave of thugs and protesters.
Protesters in defiance to the laid down order gathered around the Lekki toll gate at around 4pm.
Unsuspecting Protesters watched on as said “technicians” on order from the state government came in to take out the cameras at the Lekki toll gate.
This marked the first in the series of events that has led to the death of multiple civilians.
The army was said to have swooped in when the cameras and lights were out and rained bullets on Protesters.
