WAEC Result 2020 is out and how to check WAEC Result has emerged.

GoldenNewsNg reports that the West African Examination Council(WAEC) released WAEC result 2020 on Monday, November 2, 2020, at exactly 10:30 am.

The release of the WAEC Result is coming barely 24-hours after the West African Examination Council(WAEC) said in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, that the results of the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) conducted earlier this year would be released today, Monday, November 2.

WAEC had tweeted on Sunday: “This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by @waecnigeria tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020, by 10:30 am.”

Today, WAEC released the WAEC result 2020.

A statement by by Parick E. Areghan, the Head of WAEC Nigeria on Monday morning said: “Out of the 1,538,445 candidates that sat for the examination, 1,338,348 candidates representing 86.99%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five (5) subjects (i.e with or without English Language and/ or Mathematics;

“1,0003,668 candidates, representing 65.24%, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.”

How to Check WAEC Result 2020 Online.

Follow the procedures outlined below to check your 2020 WAEC May/June result online.

Step 1. Go to WAEC result checking portal at http://www.waecdirect.org.

Step 2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.

Step 3. Select your Examination Year i.e. 2020

Step 4. Select your Type of Examination i.e. MAY/JUNE WASSCE

Step 5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of the WAEC result checking scratch card.

Step 6. Enter the PIN on your Scratch card.

Step 7. Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2020 WAEC Result.
