N-power Recruitment Shortlisted Candidate 2020 is Out!

The NPower Programme has selected over two hundred thousand (200 000) people for the first phase of the social investment programme.
The Npower shortlisted Candidates 2020 will be shortlisted based on the different segments applied during the 2020 recruitment exercise which has ended.

The above N-power segment lists will round up 2020/2021 300, 000 N-power shortlisted candidates of which they will be deployed to the various communities across the federation to continue the assignment.

1. Please log on to www.npower.gov.ng
2. Click on “Check your pre-selection status
3. In the search box, type in your Name or Phone Number or Email address or BVN
4. If you have been pre-selected, your name will pop up
5. You will receive an SMS and email congratulating you on your pre-selection
6. Next you prepare for physical verification between November 27th – December 8th, 2017

NPOWER:
The N-Power addresses the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
The modular programmes under N-Power will ensure that each participant will learn and practice most of what is necessary to find or create work. The N-Power Volunteer Corp involves a massive deployment of 500,000 trained graduates who will assist to improve the inadequacies in our public services in education, health and civic education.
Some of these graduates will also help in actualising Nigeria’s economic and strategic aspirations of achieving food security and self-sufficiency.
Those applicants shortlisted will undergo verification for final deployment; N-power focal person might be the one to verify your documents or credentials at the Local Government Area of assignment.

Important Npower Update
All information about Npower will be updated in this website; npower.gov.ng for the meantime the Mgt is working on getting everything ready.
Our attention has been drawn to false and fraudulent reports circulating especially in the Social Media that There are equally false reports and claims about an unauthorized request for vital personal information of beneficiaries such as BVN, Account Number, among others not known to the Presidency or any arm of the Federal Government.
Beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries of the N-Power Volunteer Corps should ignore such reports emanating from fake sources and outlets and only relate with bonafide presidency and FG sources and web portals (http://npvn.npower.gov.ng, http://npower.gov.ng). For the avoidance of doubt, legitimate communication about the N-Power is done through selection@npower.gov.ng or the relevant Focal Persons appointed by each of the 36 States and the FCT.
Any information that does not emanate from these identified sources or directly from the Presidency should be simply and outrightly dismissed.
Date for commencement of the next batch of volunteers for the N-Power program will be announced on http://npvn.npower.gov.ng and http://npower.gov.ng.
Unpaid Npower Exited Beneficiaries to Submit Documents to NOA within 72hrs
Following a series of complaints by exited N-power beneficiaries who are yet to receive their stipends, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has sent out SMS to the affected N-power beneficiaries to submit the following documents within 72 hours.
Therefore, if you are among unpaid N-power beneficiaries, kindly forward your:
- Bank Statement from January 2020 to date
- Your NYSC Discharge Certificate
- Other Relevant Documents to the National Orientation Agency(NOA) in your State.
- Please note that affected N-power beneficiaries are expected to submit these documents within 72 hours.
- Kindly ignore the SMS if you have been paid.
Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development, She said: “As we renew our commitment to the service of humanity, I will like to seize this opportunity to once again state that we have successfully exited Batch A and B of the N-Power beneficiaries in June and July respectively and we are still working towards ensuring a transition plan that will further engage or absorb them into other programmes.
“We have also received over 5 million applications from proposed N-Power Batch C and we are currently in the process of selecting the qualified beneficiaries coming into the programme.
“I assure all the applicants and Nigerians that the selection process will be transparent.
“Furthermore, I wish to reiterate that I have given approval for the payment of stipends for the exited beneficiaries of batches A and B up to the month of June 2020 including that of the independent monitors.”
According to Farouq, “Also, the final payment of stipend for Batch B is almost ready for transmission to the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for final checks and payment.”
Ekiti State Governor to N-Power Beneficiaries to Expect Exit Package Soon
Latest N-Power news on exit package/ N-Power Transition. Interactive session of Ekiti State Youths with Governor DrJohn Kayode Fayemi on the 1st of November 2020.
The Session Started Around 2pm On Sunday And The Governor Was Asked The Following Questions.
He was asked to use his good office as the chairman of Nigeria Governor’s forum to speak to the presidency to give the exited N-Power beneficiaries exit package.
The Ekiti State Governor was also asked what his plan for the exited 12,000 beneficiaries in Ekiti State is, that it won’t be good for Exited N-Power Volunteers to go back to the street after they have been trained for over 2years in the program.
The Governor Responded :
He said work is ongoing seriously at the presidency about the exit package, that we should expect it soonest.
On the second question, He said some of the beneficiaries applied in the State recruitment and some have been picked. He also said those in N-Power Agro will be considered soon in a program coming up in the Ministry of Agric.
Thirdly he said five of the beneficiaries have been given an appointment at FUOYE
