The Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare has come out openly via his twitter handle to question Gernot Rohr stay as Gaffer of the Eagles, Remember the Eagles gave a disdain performance in the 1st and 2nd leg tie to Sierra Leone in the AFCON qualifiers, Remember, the first leg the eagles let loose and gave away a 4 goals lead to draw 4-4 with the Leone stars and in the return fixture they had couldn’t correct the mishaps and they drew 0-0 at the Siaka Stevens stadium.
The Minister tweeted;
“The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competencies of Technical Adviser, Rohr. Nigerian football deserves better. The needful will be done. Apologies to all football lovers”.
Many of the fans of the Super Eagles are angry at the way the manager, Gernot Rohr has handled the side with many citing bad game management, poor tactics and many others.
