Ex lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye, on Saturday, stated that God used the incumbent President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, to bring down America.
Dino made this allegation while reacting to the invasion of the Capitol Building by Trump supporters on Wednesday.
GoldenNewsNg had earlier reported that Trump’s supporters invaded the Capitol in an attempt to stop the confirmation of Biden and Kamala’s victory.
The supporters matched out after Trump stated during a rally that he would never concede, an action which has been condemned political leaders across the world.
The Speaker of the US Housem Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democratic Leader, Chuck Schumer, and many others have called for the impeachment of Trump’s impeachment.
Melaye, in his reaction to the development, stated on Saturday in a post on his Twitter account that God used Trump to humble Americans.
