Sunday Igboho has finally breaks silence after IGP’s ordered his arrest.
Hours after the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu ordered his arrest, Sunday Adeyemo, a popular Yoruba activist popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has finally broken the silence.
PM News reports that Igboho caused tension in the country when he ordered the Fulani herdsmen in Igangan, Ibarapa North local government of Oyo state to leave the area within seven days.
GoldenNewsNg gathered that at the expiration of the ultimatum on Friday, January 22, Igboho addressed thousands of supporters in Igangan, insisting that the Fulanis must leave the town.

The IGP, however, ordered the arrest of Igboho on Saturday, January 23, for giving quit notice to Fulani herdsmen. Igboho while reacting via his Twitter handle in the late night of Saturday, January 23, Igboho asked whether it was not a crime for herdsmen to kill a farmer, Dr. Fatai Aborode after invading his farm.

He tweeted: “And it’s not a crime to kill doctor Akorede? whose farm was invaded and destroyed by Fulani cows, later went to Seriki Fulani house to lay complain, but was tied and butchered and nothing happened?”
He, however, said he is not intimidated by IGP’s arrest order, saying that he and his people are more prepared for the battle ahead.
Igboho said: “We are not afraid of you. We are more prepared than you think. We can not be intimidated in our own land.”
