BNL dared the army and other security agencies to launch similar operations against its members in the Bakassi Peninsula.

It said the Nigerian security operatives will “face consuming fire.”

Chief Head of Operations of BNL, Henry Edet, in a statement on Monday in reaction to the killing of the ESN commander and six others, said that “the Nigeria Securities will see something different if they touch any officer of the of the BNL especially in Bakassi Peninsula.”

Report has it that Ikonso Don, commander of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, was confirmed killed by the military.
