Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Monday received Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors in Ibadan.
The governors include Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu); Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Bala Mohammed (Bauchi); Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (Adamawa); Nyesom Wike (River); Samuel Ortom (Benue); Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto); Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom); Douye Diri (Bayelsa); Godwin Obaseki (Edo) and Mahdi Mohd, Deputy Governor (Zamfara).
The governors, who arrived at the conference center at exactly 1:10 p.m. in a coaster bus, went into a closed-door session.
Feelers from the venue revealed that the gathering of the governors was centered on the security challenges across the country.
The meeting, which is being presided over by the chairperson of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, will also discuss issues relating to the progress of the party.
