Two PDP Governors Set To Defect to APC-APC chieftain reveals.
GoldenNewsNg report that Kashim Ibrahim-Imam an All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain yesterday disclosed that the party is seriously engaging two Governors from the opposition People’s Democratic Party( PDP)
Kashim Ibrahim-Imam though did not mention names of the Governors or their state also added that Alhaji Rashidi Ladoja a former Governor of Oyo State would be officially joining the party soon
In an interview monitored on Arise TV yesterday, Ibrahim-Imam who was the PDP candidate in Borno for two terms before defecting to APC, boasted that more PDP governors would soon join the ruling party, saying the development is good for the country.
Speaking on the agitation by the igbo’s for a presidency from the south east, he noted that while the south east is entitled to it, it would rather be difficult for the APC to cede its ticket to the region or the south – south due to the fact that those regions are not APC strongholds
In a contrary development the the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, said all the PDP governors who met last week in Abuja have confirmed that none of them would dump the party.
