Naira gains slightly at black market -See New Exchange Rate below:

GoldenNewsNg report that Naira has gained slightly at the black market, as it trades at N572.00 /1$ and 570.00 / 1$ in some states.

According to  reports that the Nigerian currency, the naira has gained slightly to N572.00 per dollar.

Meanwhile, exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in Black Market earlier today  at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) Tuesday, October 19, opened N575.00 to a $1, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).

Exchange Rate of Dollar To Naira at the official NAFEX window

The exchange rate appreciated against the US dollar on Monday, 18th October 2021 to close the day at N414.73 to a dollar, representing a 1.66% gain compared to N415.07 recorded on Friday, 15th October 2021.

The opening indicative rate closed at N415.09/$1 on Friday, representing an N1.59 kobo fall compared to N414.5/$1 recorded in the previous trading day

An exchange rate of N435.3 to a dollar was the highest rate recorded during intra-day trading before it settled at N415.07/$1, while it sold for as low as N404/$1 during intra-day trading, the same as recorded in the previous trading day.

Meanwhile, forex turnover at the official window surged by 165.8% on Friday, 15th October 2021

Meanwhile, the NAFEX rate is the prevailing rate in the investor and exporters (I&E) window which the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) adopted in May 2021 as the country’s official forex market.
