The Ministry of Humanitarian affairs disaster management and social development has debunked the information circulating online stating that the Ministry is only sharing money to the poorest Nigerians in the North because we don’t have poor people in Southern Nigeria, they have people outside the country that is taking care of them so we are not going to South Nigeria. This statement is not true and should not be taken seriously, the ministry advised the general public.

In continuation of the special documentary series on the Federal Government’s Success Story on social investment programme, the Ministry televised a documentary on NTA International on Monday night 29th November 2021 at 7:30pm

With few weeks left to the end of the year 2021, Npower batches A and B are asking if Nexit Scheme is a mirage or if there is a possibility that the Nexit Scheme will be implemented before the end of the year as an earlier promise by Humanitarian Affairs Minister. Npower Batch C Stream 2 today News

According to Nasims, their attention has just been drawn to a frivolous post making rounds the social domain announcing the commencement of Npower Batch C2 selection and a payment of #4500 for supplementary enlistment.

As a matter of fact, Npower/Nasims can not and will NEVER request monetary payment from applicants to be enlisted/shortlisted in any of the programs, as this deceptive approach contradicts the purpose of the scheme and what we stands for.

Nasims have advised Applicants to Kindly DISREGARD such deceptive chunk stemming from clone sites aimed at preying on gullible clams, stating that they shall keep you updated, for now, Batch C2 selection hasn’t COMMENCED.

Nasims gives Update on All Payment Issues Regarding Failed Payment And No Payment Data

GoldenNewsNg report that All Payment Issues Regarding Failed Payment And No Payment Data Available has been Changed To Pending, according to Nasims.

According to Nasims,  said once the resolution is effected, it will not reflect instantaneously, it will take some days. We are glad to announce that all payment issues resolved few days ago has reflected on your NASIMS profile page (PENDING) which is the first payment process.

All affected Beneficiaries are by this update advised to login to their Nasims profile page for confirmation. If yours is yet to be resolved and reflected, be patient as all payment issues will be resolved and payment made.

Nasims teams are working round the clock to get all these challenges sorted out, while we’re committed in keeping you updated.

Kindly Note the following:

1) Collation Of Account Details and Resolution is Still Ongoing.

2) Issue Regarding October Stipend And Commencement Of Batch C Stream will be address separately in due time. So Kindly stay tuned, Nasims shall give update on the above subject matter when it’s appropriate.

3) Still On Resolution Of Payment Issue. Kindly note, PENDING as seen in your payment status on your NASIMS profile page is the first payment process prior to PROCESSING. Stay tuned, while Nasims keep updating.

4) Issue Of Wrong Bank Account Details Provided: If you’re affected or under the above category of Beneficiaries, kindly call Nasims support lines 092203102, 018888340, to lodge in your compliant and provide them with the correct bank account details.

Nasims also advised Npower batch c beneficiaries with payment issues to go to the Npower official Facebook page and drop their account details for solution.

On issue of October Stipend Payment, Nasims said that they can’t talk about payment of October stipend without first having those major issues associated with payment of September stipend addressed, as some beneficiaries are yet to be paid.

Therefore, any statement or evidence claiming the commencement of payment of October stipend is false and should be paid blind eyes and deaf ears. As we have maintained, you shall be updated to that effect when it is appropriate. Kindly stick to our social media channels for authentic information, Nasims added.

The Ministry of Humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development stated that all National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) including N-Power (N-knowledge) are inclusive of and accessible to Persons with Disability.

For batches A and B beneficiaries asking about Nexit Scheme, the management of nexit have not released any new statement for now.

Tools Npower Knowledge Beneficiaries Will Get After Training

It is no longer news that Npower Knowledge Beneficiaries are currently in training camp across the Country acquiring skills. The training which commenced on the 2nd of October 2021 is to last for 3 months with 6 months apprenticeship across the 6 geo-political zones. A total of 20,000 beneficiaries are participating in the programme.

Upon completion of their training, all N-Knowledge beneficiaries undergoing Hardware Maintenance Training across the country are to be handed the under-listed items as work tools after the exercise:

a. Koocu SMD Rework Station.

b. Digital Multimeter

c. A Set of Precision Screwdrivers and,

All Software Development and N-CREATIVE will get:

a. (Animation and Scripting) trainees are to receive One (1) Laptop each upon completion of their training to enable them start up.

N-Knowledge is a component of the N-Power Programme focused on equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills and certification to become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs prepared for both the domestic and global digital job market.

Residents of a Lagos estate were left in shock on Thursday night after a young woman, Deborah Porsche, popularly known as Debporsche, was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, identified simply as Lintex, nearly a year after their breakup. According to reports, Lintex had repeatedly threatened Deborah since their split in August 2024, allegedly vowing: “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I no marry you, blood go flow.” Deborah’s sister described her as a hardworking interior decorator who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She further alleged that the deceased endured emotional abuse throughout her relationship with Lintex, which ultimately pushed her to walk away. On the night of the attack, the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider in an attempt to infiltrate the estate. Security guards reportedly stopped him at the gate, but he scaled the fence and gained entry to Deborah’s apartment. Eyewitnesses said Lintex first tampered with the gas cylinder line outside the apartment, allegedly trying to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way inside and stabbed Deborah multiple times with a knife he brought along. Alarmed neighbours rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The suspect was subdued and handed over to law enforcement officers. Police authorities have confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing. Deborah’s tragic death has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stronger legal protections for women against abusive and obsessive partners.
