Npower Resignation: Reason Beneficiaries Should Safeguard Their Password

It’s not longer news that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has included a Resignation button in the NPower self-service portal for beneficiaries who will like to resign from the scheme.

Although it has been rumoured that the resignation button was activated due to “unnecessary calls from mischievous beneficiaries over unpaid Stipend,” but it has nothing do with that.

It is important for Npower beneficiaries who got jobs and wish to leave the Npower programme or may however wish to resign from the Programme based on any reason best known to him/her.

Due to this new development, it’s time for beneficiaries to guard his/her login password in order not be the victim of unwarranted or unintentional resignation.

There have been cases where many Npower beneficiaries got resigned from the Programme without proper explanation on how it happened.

Such cases were reported among the Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries and have also been reported by some beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme, and such reports will continue to be received.

There was same report from an Npower Batch C beneficiary in the NPower group on Facebook, who complained of being resigned but know nothing about it.

Ministry Flags Off Training Of 37 Master Trainers For N-Skills Programme

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq has flagged off the training workshop for 37 Master Trainers for the N-Skills Programme, an arm under Federal Government’s National Social Investment Programme N-Power, has commenced in Abuja.

During the opening declaration of the training, the honourable minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq, stated that the N-Skills programme targets marginalized and disadvantaged populations, including those with primary or no-formal education.

According to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mr Bashir Nura Alkali, who represented the Minister, stated that the 37 Master Trainers will later coordinate the training of 6,475 youths selected from the 36 States and FCT.

NASIMS Updates The Npower Self-Service Portal, Adds Resignation Button

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has now added a resignation button on the beneficiaries dashboard on the Npower self-service portal, giving beneficiaries the opportunity to resign from the programme.

The Resign button is for beneficiaries who are tired of the program and wish to resign and continue with their normal life. If you are one of them, all you need to do is to log in to your dashboard, click o the Resign button, choose your reason for resignation, then on the second section you explain further your reason for wanting to resign and submit.

Nasims Update Non-Graduate Npower Batch C Stream 2 Status

NASIMS has updated the Non-Graduate Npower Batch C Stream 2 Status. This new development occurred today as some of the Beneficiaries took to some of their discussion group to share the news.

Recall that a few days ago, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, stated that the Federal Government will soon enlist additional 400,000 youths under the N-power programme. The Minister said the youths will be enlisted under Batch C stream 2 for the programme which is aimed at equipping the youths with life-long skills.

So if you applied for Npower and have been waiting to be Shortlisted in stream 2, we advise you to keep visiting the self-service portal https://nasims.gov.ng/ to stay updated with new changes on your profile dashboard.

The batch C stream 1 non-graduate beneficiaries in N-Tech just finished their training a few weeks ago and it’s now the turn of Stream non-graduate Npower build to start training.
