The Official Exchange Rate of Dollar To Naira Today

GoldenNewsNg gathered that the exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded, showed that the naira opened at ₦415.10 per dollar on Monday, 31st January 2022, and closed at ₦415.33 per $1.

How much is the exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in the Black Market today?

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for ₦566 and sell at ₦571 on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, according to data obtained from Bureau De Change (BDC).

The local currency depreciates as the exchange rate for today opens at ₦566.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 1st January 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, compared to ₦565 per dollar it opened yesterday Monday, January 31st, 2022.

Even though the dollar to naira opened in the parallel market at ₦566 per $1 today, GoldenNewsNg reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market. The apex bank has therefore directed anyone who requires forex to approach their bank, insisting that the I&E window is the only known exchange.

 

Note: The exchange rate changes hourly.… it depends on the volume of dollars available and the Demands. What it means is that…you can buy or sell 1 dollar at ₦572 and the price can change (high or low) within hours.

According to reports reaching us, the Ikeja Parallel market, Dollar opened at ₦566.00 per $1 at the parallel market also known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 1st February 2022, after it closed ₦565.00 per $1 on Monday 31st January 2022. which represents a total change of $1.

Other reports coming from the Ajah Lekki Parallel market, Naira opened at ₦566.00 per $1 at the parallel market also known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 1st February 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it closed ₦564.00 per $1 on Monday, 31st January 2022. which represents a total change of $2.
