Palmeiras defender, Joaquín Piquerez has warned Chelsea that his side will win the FIFA Club World Cup final on Saturday evening.
Chelsea will take on Palmeiras in the FIFA Club World Cup final on Saturday evening at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking to the press ahead of the tie, Piquerez confidently predicted a win for Palmeiras.
Piquerez was initially asked about Romelu Lukaku and replied by stating that his defenders will deal with the striker’s threat.
“Everyone knows him [Lukaku], the way he plays, his style of play,” Palmeiras said.
“He is very strong, likes to use his body but our defenders are also strong. It will be a very good clash.”
He added, “I am confident to play this final. We are going to get the title.”
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Palmeiras is 5.30 pm
