NASIMS Announces Kicks Off January Stipend Payment To NPower Beneficiaries

GoldenNewsNg reports that after months of several delays, National Social Investment Management System, NASIMS, has announced that the January Npower stipend payment process has commenced.

Sources close to the office of the Humanitarian affairs Minister, Sadiya Umar, who requested anonymity, said, “Our attention has been drawn to repetitive enquiries from Batch C Beneficiaries regarding payment commencement of January stipends, and our clarity verged on the misconception.

“As a matter of clarity, your January 2022 payment is currently being reviewed and is at the concluding stage. To that effect, payment will be initiated any time soon while all 2021 outstanding are gradually being sorted out. Moreso, the technical challenges we’ve been battling with are also a contributing factor to the payment irregularities.

“For now, we can’t tell the exact commencement date for payment of January 2022 stipends, But we do know, you will be paid anytime soon.
Please be patient! Thank you,” the source said.

Npower January and February Stipend Payment Date.

The payment date for January and February stipends has not been announced or confirmed by NASIMS management.

We encourage Npower beneficiaries to keep praying for speedy approval of their stipends.
Npower Batch C beneficiaries lament the non-payment of January and February stipends.

Npower Batch C beneficiaries have taken to various social media platforms to express their anger over the non-payment of Npower January and February stipends.

Beneficiaries asked NASIMS management to adopt the payment method used by NYSC in paying corpers.

Npower Batch C beneficiaries also lament that when Npower was under the supervision of VP Yemi Osinbajo, everything was very smooth. Beneficiaries were paid before the due time… but since it was moved to the supervision of Fauro, everything changed from good to worse.

Below are some of the screenshots of their reactions.
