JAMB Gives Fresh Directive To 2022 UTME Applicants JAMB 2022 Mock Exam

JAMB has given a fresh directive to the 2022 UTME Applicants JAMB 2022 Mock Exam.

GoldenNewsNg reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has said that the mock examination slips for its 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (2022 UTME) can now be printed out in preparation for the exercise by the applicants.

This online news platform understands that JAMB made this known in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, and made available to journalists over the weekend.

JAMB 2022: JAMB Hikes Mock Exam Service Charge To N1,000 Over Diesel Cost

GoldenNewsNg reports that candidates who will be participating in the 2022 mock Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board will have to pay the sum of N1,000 as a service charge to the CBT centres where they are assigned to sit for the examination.

The board noted that it increased the service charges from N600 to N1,000 due to the high cost of diesel in the country.

JAMB Directs 2022 UTME Applicants To Print Mock Examination Slip

GoldenNewsNg reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, said the 2022 mock notification slips were out for printing.

The board, in a terse statement by its Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, advised candidates who registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and indicated interest to sit for the optional mock examination to visit its site to print the slip.

JAMB Gives Update On JAMB Registration 2022, Takes Fresh Step On 2022 UTME

GoldenNewsNg reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says 1,837,011 candidates have been registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

2022 UTME: JAMB Registers 1.8 Million Candidates, Rakes In N8.6 Billion

GoldenNewsNg reports that at the close of the registration for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) programme on Saturday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said a total of 1,837,011 candidates were successfully captured in the exercise that took place nationwide between February 19 and March 26th 2022.

Reps probe alleged imposition of multiple fees on JAMB candidates

The House of Representatives is to investigate alleged imposition of multiple processing and administration fees by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and its accredited agents on candidates.

The resolution followed the adoption of a motion by Sergius Ogun (PDP-Edo) at plenary on Wednesday in Abuja.

In his motion, Mr Ogun said section 88(1) and (2) of the constitution empowers the National Assembly to conduct investigations into the activities of any authority executing or administering laws.

He said JAMB was established to control the conduct of matriculation examinations for candidates seeking admission into universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria.

He added that in recent times, in addition to the registration fees for the examination, all sorts of processing and administrative fees were imposed on JAMB examination candidates.

JAMB Sends Important Message To UTME/DE Candidates

JAMB has sent an important message to UTME/DE Candidates.

GoldenNewsNg reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reiterated its stand to close its 2022 registration exercise on Saturday, March 26, as earlier scheduled.

The board made this known in its Weekly Bulletin of the Office of the Registrar on Monday, in Abuja.

JAMB said that the sale of e-PINs for its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) which commenced on Feb. 19, to end on Saturday, March 26, would not attract any extension.

“This emphasis is essential because of the persistent drop in the number of e-PINs being vended, as well as the low turnout of candidates at the various centres across the nation.

JAMB Identifies 1Million Fake Admissions, Tells Students What To Do

GoldenNewsNg reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has asked students to hold their institutions responsible for their inability to access their administration letters.

JAMB said its advice to students was predicated on a series of complaints by students that it was delaying their call to the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, through delay in issuance of their admission letters.
