… Rejects APC’s Plan to Mortgage State
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State Chapter has felicitated with Muslim Ummahs across the State on the completion of the Ramadan Fast which culminates in the celebration of the Eid-l-Fitr.
The PDP in a statement signed by its
State Publicity Secretary Suleiman Ahmed Aliyu and made available to Journalists in Minna said “at this auspicious time, when Niger state is at the precipice, all that the people can do is to unite, pray and chase out its major albatross, the All progressive congress, APC.”
Aliyu said since the emergence of APC in 2015, Ramadan is no more the only month Nigerlites fast, but fasting is now from January to December due to poverty commissioned, launched and distributed by the APC led Government of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.
To crown it, the APC is reluctant in paying salaries and wages of workers and has now decided to even stop paying its electricity bills that led to disconnection of Water supply to the masses, State Secretariat and even Government House. How does Nigerlites expect a Government that can’t pay its own electricity bills to care about citizens?
The PDP is also aware that there is a grand design to mortgage the state and continue with the poverty proliferation across the state for another eight years.
The PDP and Nigerlites will come together to vehemently resist that plot, chase APC and its agents out and put in place a Government that will only serve the interests of Nigerlites, for Nigerlites and by Nigerlites.
PDP therefore invites Muslims across the state to pray and work hard to be vigilant and compassionate, to be selfless and patriotic on this Eld-l-Kabir as we move closer to the critical period.
The PDP promises that good times will be back again.
