Ahead of the upcoming general elections, the Labour Party (LP) claims that its supporters, particularly the “Obidients,” are present all over the country, including in the north.
Goldennewsng reports following a campaign it conducted in Taraba State, LP made this disclosure yesterday in a post via its verified Twitter handle.
The party claimed that the campaign rally it held in Taraba saw a large number of people attend without being compensated.
It stated: In case anyone is unsure, Obidients can be found all over Nigeria, even in the north. How else might organic support be described?
This was not organized by high-ranking members of the political party. It was not a forced gathering of paid attendees.
“I am grateful to Taraba State for your overwhelming support today.”
