The standard gas-powered Corolla has a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters and a horsepower output of 169. The Corolla also has a hybrid drivetrain. The Corolla Hybrid with front-wheel drive can make 121 horsepower. But there are no details yet about its all-wheel drive version.

There are two engine options for the 2023 Kia Forte: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 123 horsepower (201 horsepower). The Corolla has an all-wheel drive system, but the Forte does not. All models of the Kia Forte have front-wheel drive.

It is estimated that the Corolla can achieve up to 31 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway. On the other hand, the 2023 Kia Forte gets an mpg rating of 31 in the city and 41 on the highway. It is estimated that the Corolla Hybrid may achieve a mileage of up to 52 mpg on the highway and 53 mpg in the city.

When it comes to safety, the Corolla has consistently been in a better position. An IIHS Top Safety Pick+ designation was granted to the 2022 Toyota Corolla. Despite this, the Forte was not recognized by the IIHS with any award.

The basic warranty for the Forte is valid for five years or 60,000 miles, and the powertrain is covered for ten years or 100,000 miles. The basic warranty on the Corolla is guaranteed for three years and 36,000 miles, and the powertrain warranty is guaranteed for five years and 60,000 miles.

The minimum cost of the LX trim level of the 2023 Kia Forte is $19,490, and the price of the GT trim level can go up to $24,190. The official price list for the 2023 Corolla has not yet been released, but it is expected to be slightly more expensive than the price of the 2022 model. The price of the 2022 model ranged from $20,425 for the L trim to $28,710 for the APEX XSE trim. However, the L trim will not be available for the 2023 Toyota Corolla as it has been superseded by the LE trim, which in the 2022 model had a base price of $20,875 and will now have the same price.

When comparing the Forte and the Corolla, it is clear that the Corolla offers a greater number of benefits. The sole benefits that come with purchasing a Forte are increased space for passengers and goods, as well as extended warranty coverage. In conclusion, the 2023 Toyota Corolla is superior to the 2023 Kia Forte.
