Scholarship Details:
The Federal Bilateral Education Scholarship (BEA) by the Ministry of Education offers the following opportunities:
1. Undergraduate (UG) studies in Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria.
2. Postgraduate (PG) studies in Russia (for those with first degrees from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Romania.

– Hungarian Scholarship applicants can apply for up to two fields of study, visiting the website between mid-November and January 16, 2024.
– All applicants for Russia must visit the opened website, with Russian Postgraduate Scholarship applicants having obtained their first degree in Russia.
– Documents for Russian applications must be uploaded to the Russian Application portal in PDF format.
– All applicants must upload required certificates online.
Eligibility Requirements for the 2024 Federal Bilateral Education Scholarship
To be considered for the Federal Bilateral Education Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate Scholarships:
– Possess a minimum qualification of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) only. The distinctions should be in subjects relevant to their fields of study, including English Language and Mathematics.
– Certificates should not be more than two (2) years old (2022 & 2023) for Non-African Countries, and for African countries, the age of the certificate is one year (2023) only.
– Age limit: 17 to 20 years.
Postgraduate Scholarships:
– Hold a First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division.
– Completed the N.Y.S.C. (National Youth Service Corps) Programme.
– Age limit: 35 years for Master’s degree and 40 years for Ph.D.
– Only N.Y.S.C. discharge or exemption certificates are accepted.
– Provide evidence of readiness to be released by an employer.
