Buhari approves N10bn for upgrade of Enugu airport

President Buhari on Thursday Oct seventeen, proclaimed the approval of N10bn intervention fund for the rehabilitation of Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu state whose closure has sparked disputation within the previous couple of months.

 

The President who expressed that his administration will prioritise infrastructure investments in each part of the country, aforementioned he got the reassurance of the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika that the work are done rapidly and to the best standards.

 

“I have approved the sum of ten billion naira for an Intervention fund for the upgrade of the Akanu Ibiam International airfield, Enugu. I actually have the reassurance of the Minister of Aviation that the work are done apace and to the best standards,” he tweeted.

 

Even as we’ve several things competitory for our restricted resources, we’ll still rate infrastructure investments in each a part of the country. it’s our responsibility to make sure Nigeria’s infrastructure is fixed; we’ll keep doing this.
