The Kaduna State Farmers Dry Season 2023/2024 NAGSAP Support Program
The Kaduna State Government under the able Leadership of His Excellency Mal. Uba Sani in Collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security is undertaken an Intervention to support Farmers for the 2023/2024 Dry Season Farming Activities under the National Agricultural Growth Scheme Agro-Pocket (NAGSAP) programme.
Specifically for the State’s selected Value Chains comprising of WHEAT, RICE and MAIZE crop Production.
Following the Distribution of FREE-FARMERS ENROLLMENT FORMS for the Dry Season Farming activities and the subsequent registration of Wheat farmers and interested persons across identified irrigable sites in the State, the Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency (KADA) is calling on all Registered Farmers to immediately fast-tract the completion of LAND CLEARING and PREPARATION of their FARMLANDS as FREE SEED DISTRIBUTION starts very soon!!!
Participating FARMERS should ensure that their farmlands are completely cleared and prepared to receive 100%-FREE SEED and other FARM INPUTS at 50% subsidized rate of the total cost of WHEAT production required inputs.
Farmers are hereby advised to ready their equity (50%) for collection of subsidized farm-inputs at various REDEMPTION CENTERS to be announced in due course.
