NPower Backlog Payment Update:

The much-anticipated resolution of the N-Power 9-month outstanding backlog payment is still in progress. According to the latest statement from the Minister, glitches in the system are actively being addressed, and beneficiaries can expect the commencement of payments in due course.

Nationwide Protest by NPower Beneficiaries:

Facing delays in stipend payments, the National Association of N-Power Beneficiaries (NANB), representing Batches A, B, and C, has taken a decisive step by announcing a nationwide protest. Scheduled for December 13, 2023, the protest aims to draw attention to the prolonged nonpayment of the nine-month stipends. Beneficiaries express their determination to maintain a peaceful protest until their concerns are acknowledged and addressed.

Association Disowns Disruptive Elements:

In a noteworthy development, the NANB has officially disassociated itself from certain individuals involved in disruptive activities. These individuals are accused of engaging in insults, name-calling, character assassinations, and disrespectful rhetoric against the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu. The association clarifies that these elements are not genuine N-Power Beneficiaries but external actors attempting to sow discord between the Minister and the beneficiaries.

These recent events underscore the ongoing challenges faced by N-Power beneficiaries, emphasizing the urgency for transparent communication and efficient resolution of payment issues. The planned protest serves as a collective voice demanding swift action and resolution to ensure the welfare of N-Power beneficiaries. Stay tuned for further updates as the situation unfolds.
