January 12, 2024: Dollar (USD) to Naira Black Market Rate

As of January 12, 2024, the USD to Naira exchange rate confirmed by GOLDENNEWS, indicates that a dollar is bought at 1263₦‎ and sold at 1250₦‎. This represents an increase from the previous day when it was traded at 1245₦‎.

In addition to the USD to Naira rate, other currency performances in the black market include the Euro/Naira, which traded at 1340 for buying and 1325 for selling. The Pound to Naira exchange rate is at 1585 for buying and 1560 for selling.

For the past seven days, the USD to Naira exchange rates were as follows:

– January 11, 2024: Buy – 1245, Sell – 1237
– January 10, 2024: Buy – 1245, Sell – 1240
– January 9, 2024: Buy – 1245, Sell – 1230
– January 8, 2024: Buy – 1243, Sell – 1230
– January 7, 2024: Buy – 1235, Sell – 1220
– January 6, 2024: Buy – 1225, Sell – 1209
– January 5, 2024: Buy – 1208, Sell – 1220

According to reports from local dealers, confirmed by GOLDENNEWSNG , the Dollar to Naira exchange rate remains at 1263 for buying and 1250 for selling.

 

As of today, the Dollar to Naira exchange rates in various locations (Abuja, Kano, Lagos) in the black market are as follows:

– Buying Rate: 1263 Naira
– Selling Rate: 1250 Naira

These rates represent the values at which Aboki/Bureau De Change (BDC) are currently buying and selling the United States dollar in the unofficial market. Keep in mind that there may be slight variations in rates across different parallel markets.
