The Federal Ministry of Education is delighted to announce the commencement of the 2024 Federal Government Bursary Award, offering a cash prize of N150,000.00 to eligible Nigerian students enrolled in tertiary institutions.

Overview of FSB Bursary Award

  • The FSB Bursary Award provides an annual cash award of N150,000.00 to selected applicants who are registered students of Nigerian universities or colleges of education.
  • It is open to students in their second year of study or above, including those with disabilities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the FSB Bursary 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered student studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.
  • Full-time enrollment status.
  • Must be in their second year of study or above, including Persons with disabilities.
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any existing scholarship.

Benefits of FSB Bursary Award

  • Each beneficiary receives a N150,000 fund annually.
  • The award is renewable every year until the beneficiary completes their college or university education.

Required Documents

Candidates must submit the following documents along with their application:

  • Letter of Admission to the Institution
  • State of Origin Certificate
  • National Identity Number (NIN)
  • CGPA Result (Academic Transcript)

  2. Click on the Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page.
  3. Select Federal Education Bursary Award (EBA).
  4. Read the guidelines and complete the application form online.
  5. Print the completed application form for reference.
  6. Ensure no double entries to avoid disqualification.
