The manifesto, tagged “My Pact with the People of Edo State,” outlines Akpata’s comprehensive plan to transform the state into a model of economic prosperity, good governance, and social inclusivity.

The manifesto highlights eight priority areas that Akpata intends to focus on: economy and job creation, roads and infrastructure, healthcare, education, security of lives and property, electricity and energy access, agriculture, and food security.

Akpata envisions an Edo State where every citizen can thrive. He promises to create an environment where families can afford food at reduced prices, children receive quality education, and graduates find meaningful employment. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of leveraging Edo’s rich cultural heritage to attract tourism, alongside managing the state’s natural resources wisely to benefit its people.

Reflecting on the progress of the old Bendel State, Akpata expresses his determination to restore and elevate Edo State’s status as a leader in Nigeria’s economic development. His approach is firmly people-oriented, with a commitment to ensuring that every policy and project directly benefits the residents of Edo State.

“Our vision is clear: to create a healthy, stable, sustainable, and inclusive economy that benefits everyone,” Akpata declared. “We want an Edo State where people feel safe, where infrastructure works, where farmers thrive, and where every citizen has the opportunity to succeed.”

Akpata’s “My Pact with the People of Edo State” is more than just a campaign document—it’s a mission to position Edo as a model of good governance and economic prosperity. He calls on the people of Edo State to join him in this mission, promising to lead a government that is transparent, accountable, and dedicated to the well-being of all its citizens.
