NDA Releases List of Successful Candidates for 77 Regular Course, Announces Interview Schedule
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has published the official list of successful candidates for the 77 Regular Course who passed the nationwide screening test conducted on Saturday, 14 June 2025. The shortlisted candidates are now invited to participate in the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) Interview, which is scheduled to hold at the NDA Ribadu Campus (Old Site), Kaduna.
The announcement, signed by Brigadier General OA Ogunleye, Academy Registrar, outlined critical dates and procedures for the selection process.
Interview Dates and Batches
To ensure an orderly and structured process, the NDA has divided candidates into two batches based on their states of origin:
Batch 1: To report from Saturday, 28 June – Friday, 18 July 2025
States included:
Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, FCT-Abuja, Imo, Kano, Plateau, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Osun, Taraba
Batch 2: To report from Saturday, 19 July – Friday, 8 August 2025
States included:
Abia, Adamawa, Benue, Delta, Enugu, Ekiti, Edo, Gombe, Kaduna, Kogi, Nassarawa, Ondo, Oyo, Jigawa, Rivers, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara
The NDA cautioned that any candidate who fails to report on their assigned date will not be allowed to participate. Also, Batch 2 candidates found around NDA premises before 19 July will be disqualified.
What to Expect During the AFSB Interview
Candidates will undergo a rigorous selection process that includes:
Document verification
Medical and physical fitness tests
Group and individual obstacle challenges
A 3.2 km race
Disqualification awaits candidates who fail to meet the required standards at any of these stages.
Documents Required
All shortlisted candidates must come with originals and two photocopies of the following documents:
JAMB 2025 UTME Registration Slip
NDA Acknowledgement Form & Screening Test Admission Card
Academic certificates or school result statements (Primary & Secondary)
Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
State/Local Government Indigeneship Certificate
Letter of Attestation (from a parent, guardian, or a military officer if applicable)
Letter of Consent from Parent/Guardian
Military officers endorsing a candidate’s indigeneship must be of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent and must provide full details including phone number and stamped credentials.

Personal Items to Bring
Each candidate is expected to bring:
Writing materials
3 blue shorts and 3 white round-neck T-shirts
A pair of white canvas shoes and 3 white socks
Toiletries
₦3,500 for result verification
WAEC/NECO scratch cards
4 recent passport photos
A second copy of NDA Screening Postcard photograph
Enough transport money to and from Kaduna
The NDA has assured all candidates that accommodation and feeding will be provided during the selection board process.
