The Nigerian Army College of Nursing offers the following two categories of programmes:
1. ND/HND Nursing Programme
Duration: Four (4) years
Qualification: Candidates must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 160
This programme leads to the award of a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Nursing
2. Community Nursing Programme
Duration: Two (2) years
Qualification: Candidates must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 130
Designed to train competent community health nurses, especially for rural health outreach

Paramilitary personnel
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years by October 2025
Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in WASSCE, NECO, or GCE. The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Must have written the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

160 for ND/HND Nursing
130 for Community Nursing
