Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be indigenes of the Niger Delta region

Be not more than 40 years old

Hold a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Second Class Lower degree

Candidates with HND (Upper Credit) and a PGD are also eligible
-
Have gained admission into a recognized Nigerian university for a postgraduate programme
Selection Process
The selection process includes several stages:

Online Application – Candidates must apply through the NDDC website: www.nddc.gov.ng

Preliminary Shortlisting – Based on academic credentials and local government identification.

Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Shortlisted applicants will write a CBT at centers in Akwa Ibom, Delta, and Rivers states. Candidates must score at least 70%.

Oral Interview – Applicants who pass the CBT will proceed to an oral interview stage.

Final Verification – This includes verification with the respective Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Community Development Committees (CDCs).
