Femi Fani-Kayode has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari and military forces in Nigeria after the US Army rescued its citizen in the North at the weekend.

GoldenNewsNg  learnt that the  United States forces rescued an American, 27-year-old Philip Walton, taken hostage in Nigeria by armed men.

Reacting, the former Minister of Aviation, mocked the Buhari government, accusing it of being good at killing its own citizens, alluding to the shooting of unarmed #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki area of Lagos State.

Nigerian Govt Changes Website Address For Survival Fund, Disclose New Portal

The website for the Survival Fund has been changed by the Federal Government. According to a statement released by the Presidency, the website faced a challenge that made it necessary to change the portal address of the social intervention programme.

The initial website address was “survivalfund.ng”, which the government intends to use to disburse N75 billion to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The new website is now “survivalfund.gov.ng”, and AllNews gathered it took effect from Today, November 1, 2020.

Calling for the recall of Alli-Macaulay in a statement, Kingsley E. Nwanze, Convener, Amuwo Odofin Intelligentsia, and Gbenga N. Akinbinu, NYCN, Amuwo Odofin Chapter, said the statement ascribed to her was not only inciting but also callously targeted at maligning the good intentions of peaceful Nigerian youth in birthing a Nigeria that works in the interest of all her citizens.

#EndSARS: Sanwo-Olu Lifts Curfew In Lagos State

The Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu has asked Lagosians to go about their business without any hindrance whatsoever as he lifts the curfew placed on the state.

Making this disclosure in a statement on Saturday, Lagos Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso explained that the 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. curfew imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 remains.

 Ohanaeze To Nnamdi Kanu, Go And Sin No More

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide (OYC) has told Nnamdi Kanu, leader of indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) to go and sin no more after his unreserved apologies during his interview with veteran Journalists, Dele Momodu.

Ohanaeze in a statement signed by Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, the group’s Secretary-General commended Nnamdi Kanu for heeding to the advice of its (OYC) leadership to immediately tender his unreserved apologies to Ndigbo,” still called on the IPOB leader to retract his End SARS verbal attacks, inflammatory threats, and stop all unnecessary violent protests in the Southeast and the whole of Igboland.

Why I Will Never Defend IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu – Deji Adeyanju

A sociopolitical activist, Deji Adeyanju, has given reasons why he cannot support the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

In a post on his Twitter handle, Adeyanju accused the IPOB leader of fuelling attacks against policemen and their stations in Rivers State.

GoldenNewsNg  reports that men of the Nigeria Police Force were killed, as many stations were burnt and arms carted away during the End SARS protest.

Speaking on the recent violence in Rivers, Adeyanju stated that Kanu had told his supporters to attack the police, and that he also asked them to burn down their stations.

“Nnamdi Kanu told his supporters to attack the police & burn down police stations. That’s the person you expect me to defend? Non-violent resistance always work.

“However, the security agents must stop extrajudicial killings of those alleged to have committed any crime. If anyone has committed any crime, arrest & charge them to court.

“Stop killing Nigerians in revenge missions,” he said.
