The Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) has released an updated timeline for the Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Empowerment Programme (YEIDEP), highlighting key dates and activities leading up to the disbursement phase.
The updated schedule comes as part of FMYD’s effort to provide clarity and structure for applicants and beneficiaries of the empowerment programme.
According to the Ministry, the application window for YEIDEP will officially close on August 31, 2025. Following the closure, the collation of account details from qualified applicants will take place between September 1 and 10, 2025.
The third phase, which includes engagement with shortlisted beneficiaries, is scheduled to run from September 11 to October 11, 2025. This period will cover all preparatory activities necessary for the effective launch of the programme.
Finally, the Ministry announced that the disbursement of funds to Batch “A” beneficiaries will be conducted between October 20 and 30, 2025.
This updated timeline replaces the earlier schedule released by FMYD and sets a more defined path toward implementation.
