The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) has officially opened its 2025 recruitment portal, calling on suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for various vacant positions. The recruitment is being carried out under the supervision of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
According to the announcement, the exercise is for full-time appointments across three major categories: General Duty, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre.
“Application is absolutely free,” the NCoS emphasized, warning applicants to beware of fraudsters and unofficial agents.

Basic Requirements
To be eligible for the NCoS 2025 recruitment, applicants must:

Be Nigerian by birth

Possess the required educational qualifications

Be physically and mentally fit, with certification from a government-recognized hospital

Be of good character, with no history of criminal conviction or financial misconduct

Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
-
Meet minimum height requirements: 1.65m for males, 1.60m for females
-
Male applicants must have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87m
-
Computer literacy is an added advantage
All academic and professional certificates must be presented at the recruitment centre; documents submitted later will not be accepted.
