The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has officially commenced its 2025 nationwide recruitment exercise, with the recruitment portal now live for eligible Nigerians interested in full-time federal jobs under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
In a statement released today, the Corps urged qualified candidates across the country to submit their applications for multiple vacant positions. The NSCDC stressed that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, warning the public to avoid fake agents and unauthorized websites.
“All applicants must apply through the official CDCFIB portal only. The process is transparent, and we do not charge any fees,” the NSCDC stated.

The recruitment is open across three major categories:

General Requirements
To be eligible for the NSCDC 2025 recruitment, applicants must:

Be Nigerian by birth

Possess the required academic and professional qualifications
-
Be between 18 and 35 years of age

Be physically and mentally fit, with medical certification from a government hospital

Be of good character, with no criminal convictions
-
Have no record of financial misconduct
-
Be at least 1.65m tall (males) and 1.60m (females)
-
Male applicants must have a chest measurement of at least 0.87m
-
Computer literacy will be an added advantage
Certificates not presented during the recruitment process will not be accepted at a later stage.
