FUASK has opened Application Portal for 2025 Admission: read details on How to Apply below

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK), has officially opened its application portal for the 2025 admission cycle.

This comes shortly after the university released its JAMB cut-off marks, which range between 180 and 240, with Medicine and Surgery having the highest benchmark.

According to a statement released by the institution, all prospective candidates are required to visit https://applicant.fuask.edu.ng and create a new applicant account to begin the registration process.

“Applicants should visit our portal and create an account if they haven’t already by clicking on New Applicant,” the university announced.

Application Fee and Payment Method

Once an account is created, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000. FUASK offers two convenient payment options:

“You can pay with your ATM card directly or generate the RRR and go to a bank and pay,” FUASK clarified.

How to Complete the Online Application

After payment confirmation, the full application forms will be available in the applicant’s dashboard. Candidates are expected to:

  • Fill in all required fields in the application forms.

  • Ensure accurate and complete details to avoid disqualification.

  • Submit the completed application forms online.

“Note that you will not be able to submit if you don’t fill all the forms,” the institution warned.

Physical Submission Required

In addition to the online submission, applicants must print and physically submit their completed forms to the University’s Admissions Office.

This step is compulsory and must be completed before the closing date of the application process, which will be announced soon.

This development is especially significant for students seeking affordable and tech-friendly admission processes into Nigerian universities.

FUASK continues to position itself as a student-oriented institution, offering streamlined application procedures and multiple payment options for ease of access.

Residents of a Lagos estate were left in shock on Thursday night after a young woman, Deborah Porsche, popularly known as Debporsche, was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, identified simply as Lintex, nearly a year after their breakup. According to reports, Lintex had repeatedly threatened Deborah since their split in August 2024, allegedly vowing: “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I no marry you, blood go flow.” Deborah’s sister described her as a hardworking interior decorator who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She further alleged that the deceased endured emotional abuse throughout her relationship with Lintex, which ultimately pushed her to walk away. On the night of the attack, the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider in an attempt to infiltrate the estate. Security guards reportedly stopped him at the gate, but he scaled the fence and gained entry to Deborah’s apartment. Eyewitnesses said Lintex first tampered with the gas cylinder line outside the apartment, allegedly trying to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way inside and stabbed Deborah multiple times with a knife he brought along. Alarmed neighbours rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The suspect was subdued and handed over to law enforcement officers. Police authorities have confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing. Deborah’s tragic death has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stronger legal protections for women against abusive and obsessive partners.
