Below is the Full List of Federal Government Approved TVET Centers for Free Skills Training

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has officially published the updated list of approved Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centers across Nigeria. This comprehensive list includes Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), accredited training centers, and MCP facilities, bringing the total number of recognized centers to 1,268 nationwide.

The full directory is now available on the NBTE’s official website, and the agency has made it clear that the information is free and publicly accessible.“Candidates should not contact or pay anyone on WhatsApp, Facebook, or any other platform to access the list,” NBTE warned.

Additionally, the board clarified that there is no downloadable PDF version of the list. All verified information is hosted directly on the NBTE website to ensure transparency and prevent fraud.

The published list contains key details, including:
a. TVET Name
b. Enterprise
c. Ownership Category (Private)
d. TVET Category
e. State
f. LGA
g. Address

The approved Vocational Enterprise Institutions, Training Centers, and MCPs are located across all the following states:
1. Abia
2. Adamawa
3. Akwa Ibom
4. Anambra
5. Bauchi
6. Bayelsa
7. Benue
8. Borno
9. Cross River
10. Delta
11. Ebonyi
12. Edo
13. Ekiti
14. Enugu
15. Gombe
16. Imo
17. Jigawa
18. Kaduna
19. Kano
20. Katsina
21. Kebbi
22. Kogi
23. Kwara
24. Lagos
25. Nasarawa
26. Niger
27. Ogun
28. Ondo
29. Osun
30. Oyo
31. Plateau
32. Rivers
33. Sokoto
34. Taraba
35. Yobe
36. Zamfara
37. Federal Capital Territory

How to check:

To check the list:
a. Go to www.digitalnbte.nbte.gov.ng/Public/PUCVEIs
b. If you are using a mobile phone, switch it to desktop mode (a PC is better)
c. Click on Please Select Category

d. Select All Institutions

e. Click on Retrieve

f. When the full list appears, click the Search bar

g. Enter the name of your state, example, Kano, and it will automatically bring up full accredited/approved TVET list for that state

The NBTE further emphasized that “any list not sourced directly from the official website is fake.” This move is intended to guide candidates, investors, and stakeholders in the technical and vocational education sector by providing accurate, verified information straight from the source.

Applicants are strongly advised to disregard any unofficial or third-party lists circulating online.

The board also noted that further updates regarding FME TVET postings will be released once the trainee list is finalized and officially published.
