The Federal Civil Service Commission has announced the commencement of the 2025 online promotion accreditation exercise for officers on Grade Levels 14 to 16.
The Commission explained that the exercise is part of its statutory mandate on recruitment, promotion, and discipline, and is being conducted in line with Circular No. FC.6243l/GOV/2025/VOLI.1 dated May 12, 2025. It noted that all eligible officers are expected to carry out their accreditation through the official portal at promotion.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.
The process opened on Friday, September 12, 2025, and will run until Sunday, September 28, 2025. Login details will be sent to accredited candidates via their registered email addresses, enabling them to access the platform and complete their accreditation before the deadline.
The Commission advised all affected officers, including those on duty posts outside their headquarters or abroad, to ensure they complete the process within the stipulated period. It stressed that the accreditation is a prerequisite for participation in the promotion exercise and warned that failure to comply before the closing date would result in disqualification.
