The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially announced the date for the main Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination for all shortlisted applicants under the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadres.
According to the notice released on the official NCS recruitment portal, the main online test has been scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025. The exam will be conducted in three batches (A, B, and C) to ensure a smooth and organized process across all participating candidates.
Applicants are required to log in with their National Identification Number (NIN) via the official link: https://updates.customs.gov.ng , to confirm their batch, date, and time of examination.
The NCS emphasized strict compliance with assigned batches and times, warning that failure to adhere to the schedule may result in disqualification.

Important Guidelines for NCS Recruitment Candidates

Avoid calculators and mobile phones: The use of calculators, mobile phones, or any other devices is strictly prohibited during the examination.

No multiple log-ins: Candidates are also advised not to switch browser windows or attempt multiple log-ins, as this could affect their participation in the test.

Laptop or desktop only: The test must be taken using a laptop or desktop computer, ensuring full compatibility and system stability.

Facial verification required: Candidates will undergo identity verification through webcam facial recognition before and during the test session.
The Customs Service further clarified that only Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadre applicants are eligible to take part in this stage of the recruitment process.
Meanwhile, candidates under the Superintendent Cadre have been advised not to participate at this stage, as their examination will be scheduled separately.
