The Family of Sound Sultan officially announce the death of their beloved and also revealed the cause Sound Sultan’s death.
The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning as popular singer and songwriter Sound Sultan is dead.
The family sent out an official statement which was shared on Instagram by Efe Omoregbe who is 2baba’s manager.
In the announcement, Dr Kayode Fasasi signed on behalf of the late singer’s family.
According to him, Sound Sultan died on the morning of Sunday, July 11. he was said to have had a battle with angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma.
He was 44 years old and survived by his loving wife, three children, and siblings. The family requested their privacy as they come to terms with his passing.

Sound Sultan was very close to singer 2baba, no wonder the African Queen crooner’s manager was the first to officially announce his death on social media.
Sound Sultan’s last post on Instagram
The late singer’s last post on Instagram was on July 3. He shared a video of Patoranking’s latest song Celebrate Me.
