NPower: FG Commences Payment Of Outstanding Arrears To Beneficiaries
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development says it has commenced the payment of arrears of stipends for batches A and B of the 2016 and 2018 volunteers of the NPower programme nationwide.
NPower: FG extends physical verification exercise for Batch C
The Federal Government has extended the date of the physical verification exercise of its youth empowerment scheme, NPower Batch C beneficiaries.
The physical verification exercise was extended from September 24 to September 30, 2021.
Training of exited NPower volunteers begins October – FG
The Federal government has disclosed its plan to commence training for the exited batches A and B of the NPower scheme. The Federal Government also said out of 500,000 exited volunteers, 390,000 of them have been successfully accommodated in the NPower NEXIT.
NSIP denies extortion of NPower beneficiaries in Kogi
The Kogi office of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) on Saturday in Lokoja dissociated itself from alleged extortion of NPower Batch C beneficiaries. There is an ongoing physical verification of the beneficiaries in some local councils in the state. Online media reports had alleged that Kogi NSIP officials
NSIP Focal Person in Kogi, Mr Abdulkareem Onyekehi, described the report as misleading, biased and unprofessional.
Onyekehi noted in a statement, “To set the record straight, Kogi State office of the NSIP is not responsible for the NPower Batch C Physical Verification exercise.
