Report reaching us shows that the Coalition of Southern Groups of Nigeria Postponed World Press Conference slated for Monday 15th November,2021 after an enlarged tactical and strategic meeting to create several committees for the coalition since election was held on the 10th November, 2021 for effective running of the group.
In line with the aphorism as enunciated by Lord Chesterfield that firmness of purpose is one of the most necessary sinews of character and the best instrument of success. In consonance with this philosophy to deepen democratic cause that will engender inclusivity, the Coalition of  Southern Groups  CSG after our brainstorming session and meeting today, the 12th of November 2021 in Eko Hotel, Lagos State has embraced the reported zoning of the 2023 presidential ticket to the South with happiness and enthusiasm. That without has lend credence that unity of purpose is in strides and that our democracy is growing in leaps and bounds.
Meanwhile on the 10th of November 2021 Hon. UCHE Nwabueze emerged as National President of Coalition of Southern Groups in an
election well conducted at Eko hotel and suites with over forty Eight (48) registered associations and socio-cultural & political groups in attendance, the process of the election was free, fair and credible, other national officers who emerged  during the election are ; Hon. Blessing Ekpo of Cross River state elected as National Vice President, Hon. Olusegun Nelson National Secretary, Hon.Chukwuemeka Uzoka National publicity Secretary, Hon.Preye Geneses as National organizing secretary, Hon.Temitope Tijani(Tzat) as National Contacts and Mobilisation officer and others. The national president addressed gentlemen of the press with the decision and position of the southern groups on 2023 general election as follows;
Today we are sending a strong signal to the naysayers as we send stern advice to any group to accept this fact or will be seen as an enemy of one Nigeria.
This decision at a time like this will not only foster development but create peace in our Country’s history, trust and unity devoid of mutual suspicion which has been an entrenched culture in our polity ab-initio.
We hereby call on all political parties in Nigeria to unanimously adopt their Presidential candidates from the South or face strong resistance in all ramifications from us because it is our firm belief that the north has had her 8years based on same mutual understanding.
Without mincing words, there is no compromise on this decision to back a Southern president as any leader that goes against this resolution will be treated as an outcast. We call on all men of goodwill in the South to join other progressives from the North to nominate a credible candidate from the South that will continue on the same principle of rotational presidency for equity and fairness.
Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much as one NIGERIA.
History has it that North has ruled the country more than the South hence the decision by the political parties to zone its presidential candidate to the South and we implore all and Sundry to marry this development.
The South is fully prepared and ready to take on the mandate to move Nigeria forward. so, let the Northern groups accept and join the moving train to build.
Also, we wish to notify the general public that the coalition of Southern Groups World Press Conference slated for 15th November,2021 is hereby postponed till further notice.
At this juncture we are appealing to the prominent personalities in the south to  consider contesting for the number one seat of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We call on people like:
ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU
