Benzema Sex-Tape Trial:Real Madrid Star Handed Suspended Prison Sentence
Karin benzema has been given a one-year suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of blackmailing his former France team-mate Mathieu Valbuena.
The Real Madrid striker has also been fined E75,000, however it appears he will not spend time behind bars for his role in the criminal scheme.
GoldenNewsNg gathered that Benzema stood trial last month for his role in the sex tape five years ago.
Benzema”s lawyers said they would appeal the decision: “We are quite shocked by this judgement. An appeal is necessary. He will be exonerated at the height of this appeal”.
The striker has so far denied any involvement in the scandal.
