… as PDP warms up to receive hundreds of decampees
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State is currently in disarray as younger brother to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Aminu Sani Bello, popular politician in Niger North, Abubakar Buhari and Dozens of their followers have dumped the APC for the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
This is coming barely a week after hundreds of their members in Bosso local government area and in zone A (Niger South) decamped from the party to join the main opposition (PDP).
Golden News Online gathered that the Governor’s younger brother, Aminu from Kontagora Central ward alongside a bigwig named Abubakar Buhari have obtained their PDP membership card.
While presenting the PDP membership card to them, the Ward Chairman, Kontagora Central, Umar Hassan, said “the incompetence, clueless and ineptitude of the APC can only be moment of mediocre”.
In his remarks, Zonal Chairman (Niger north), Yahaya Abdullahi Ability welcome the duo and their followers charging them to work towards the PDP’s development and success.
“Both of you are welcome, we also welcome all of you who have decided to join the PDP. Make sure you study the party’s constitution and work hard for the development of the party.”
The Zonal Chairman further disclosed that “more APC members in their thousands who have seen the truth in the coming week have joining the PDP. Very soon, we will conclude plans to welcome them”
It was gathered that, the reception ceremony will be coming in earnest as they have only obtained membership card.
