As we all know, NASIMS has commenced the shortlisting of Npower Batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries which shortlisted beneficiaries has been urged to immediately do their Fingerprint enrollment through the NASIMS self service portal.
Since the commencement, we have been receiving question from some beneficiaries “if applicants can use their mobile phones for the fingerprint enrollment”. Which we have decided to use this article to answer that question.
According to recent findings, it is currently not possible to use your Mobile Phone for NPower Fingerprint Enrollment unless for those that have a very high sophisticated smartphone connected with a fingerprint scanner like DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 Scanner, the type of fingerprint scanner used for JAMB and NYSC registration etc. (See image below).
According to the Npower NASIMS Management, applicants will be needing a 32bit or 64bit operating system installation as one of the biometric fingerprint prerequisites which clearly means that you would definitely need a desktop or laptop to be able to complete fingerprint enrollment. This you can do at home if you have a laptop and fingerprint scanner.
So to avoid complicating issues, visit a Cyber Cafe nearest to you for the Npower Biometric Fingerprint Scan if you don’t have a laptop or desktop.
