Npower Batch C beneficiaries lament the non-payment of January and February stipends.

Npower Batch C beneficiaries have taken to various social media platforms to express their anger over the non-payment of Npower January and February stipends.

Beneficiaries asked NASIMS management to adopt the payment method used by NYSC in paying corpers.

Npower Batch C beneficiaries also lament that when Npower was under the supervision of VP Yemi Osinbajo, everything was very smooth. Beneficiaries were paid before the due time… but since it was moved to the supervision of Fauro, everything changed from good to worse.

WHY WE CAN’T ASSURE YOU OF THE EXACT DATE FOR PAYMENT OF JANUARY 2022 STIPENDS

Our attention has been drawn to repetitive enquiries from Batch C Beneficiaries regarding payment commencement of January stipends, and our clarity verged on the misconception.

As a matter of clarity, your January 2022 payment is currently being reviewed and is at the concluding stage. To that effect, payment will be initiated any time soon while all 2021 outstanding are gradually being sorted out. Moreso, the technical challenges we’ve been battling with are also a contributing factor to the payment irregularities.

For now we can’t tell the exact commencement date for payment of January 2022 stipends, But we do know, your January payment will be initiated anytime soon.

Please be patient!

Thank you!

NPower recommences payment of December stipend to beneficiaries

This online news platform understands that N-Power (Npower) is a scheme set up by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on 8 June 2016, to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development.

GoldenNewsNg report Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHADMSD), is the Minister in charge of Npower.

Following the delay in Npower stipend payment, Npower beneficiaries have been complaining, with some taking to social media to express their displeasure.

in a post on social media network, NASIMS wrote: “ATTENTION! Npower Batch C1: PAYMENT OF DECEMBER STIPENDS”

“The payment of December stipends was recommenced on the 1/3/2022 after a long period of PROCESSING and its still ongoing . While we don’t take pleasure in the delay, all unpaid Beneficiaries for the month of December will definitely get their payment. Thank you!”

NASIMS management Apologies for Npower January and February Stipend Payment Delay.

NASIMS management has apologised to N-power Batch C beneficiaries for the delay in payment of Npower January and February stipends.

According to NASIMS management, the delay is due to a lack of funds.

The management assured beneficiaries that their stipends would be paid as soon as possible

The statement reads,

Recall that we published a precise report a few weeks ago, clearly stating the reason for the unprogressive payment system in the N-Power scheme. This information is with regards to the disturbances and complaints by beneficiaries over unpaid January and February stipends.

We acknowledge your grievances and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this delay has caused you. The payment of January and February stipends, which has yet to be approved, may be initiated sooner than expected as we had promised.

However, the N-Power team under the supervision of NASIMS is doing everything possible to tackle this problem. We advise you to remain calm while we sort things out for your benefit.

Note that all outstanding stipends and backlogs will be paid in due time.

Keep your accounts validated.

Thanks.
